Future - Excel Learning Center
Michael Robinson is a visionary. Three years ago during a conversation with Varina Board of Supervisors representative Rev. Tyrone Nelson, he expressed interest in obtaining the property. Henrico County had just announced the new Varina Area Library to be constructed on Route 5, less than two miles from the current library. Fast forward three years and the Henrico County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to gift the former Varina Area Library to Excel to Excellence. In exchange for the gift, the organization will raise the funds and transform the facility into a state of the art Learning Center facility. The theme of the new learning center will be CREATE. SERVE. LEAD.
Excel to Excellence will use this page to keep the community updated on progress for the facility. Michael and the entire organization are very thankful for the leadership in Henrico County and look forward to working with the community to create a safe place for youth that will ultimately change lives and develop leaders.
